The March 2026 issue of NHRA National Dragster magazine, featuring coverage of the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals and interesting feature stories, is now online in digital format and in the mail in its traditional print format to NHRA Members around the world.

The season-opening Gatornationals in Florida officially kicked off NHRA’s 75th Anniversary season at Gainesville Raceway, but also the yearlong celebration of the sport’s history.

Josh Hart, Chad Green, Matt Hartford, and Richard Gadson emerged as event winners, but the fans won big, too, and legends from NHRA history, including “Big Daddy” Don Garlits and Don “the Snake” Prudhomme, were in attendance, meeting fans, signing autographs, and taking part in numerous other activities.

The racing covered guardwall to guardwall and from Top Fuel to Top Sportsman, and a special section salutes the legends and their weekend.

Coverage of the event also incudes the Right Trailers NHRA All-Star Top Fuel Callout event plus a special interview with Top Fuel winner Josh Hart.

Columnists Phil Burgess and Elon Werner share their deep takes about the weekend from different viewpoints, while three-time world champ Luke Bogacki weighs in on the spectacular Sportsman racing battles already shaping up. Our monthly Racing Technology column shares top secrets for how to pick an engine builder.

The three-generation Top Alcohol Funny Car-racing Gasparrelli family — Lou, Steve, and now Tobin — are saluted in a heartwarming feature, and the issue also takes a look back at the history of the NHRA SPORTSnationals at Beech Bend Raceway Park.
