During the final round of E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service qualifying at the Dodge//SRT Mile-High NHRA Nationals Presented By Pennzoil, J.R. Gray Jr.’s car made contact with the wall and rolled before coming to a stop. He exited the car under his own power.
