Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School has announced its return to Frank Hawley ownership as it begins an exciting new chapter in its more than 40-year history.

Following a brief period of different ownership, the school is once again Frank Hawley-owned. Throughout that time, one thing never changed: the people. The same experienced instructors, dedicated staff, race cars, transporters, equipment, and commitment to excellence that have defined Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School for more than four decades remained in place every step of the way.

For more than 40 years, Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School has introduced thousands of people to one of the most exciting forms of motorsports in the world. The school has helped first-time drivers fulfill their dream of driving drag race cars, conducted thousands of NHRA licensing runs, and trained racers who have gone on to successful careers and NHRA championships.

“Over the years I’ve had the privilege of helping people fulfill their dream of driving drag race cars,” said Hawley. “Watching students earn their NHRA licenses, build confidence, and become better racers has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I’m excited to be back on the road with our incredible team, visiting the NHRA tracks we’ve called home for decades. We can’t wait to welcome old friends, meet new students, and continue doing what we love.”

That mission continues today with the same commitment to professionalism and excellence that racers have trusted for generations. From the East Coast to the West Coast, the school will be teaching drivers of every experience level, conducting NHRA licensing programs, and helping inspire the next generation of drag racers at some of the greatest drag racing facilities in the world.

“To our thousands of former students, thank you for your confidence, loyalty, and friendship through the years. To those who have always dreamed of driving drag race cars, earning an NHRA competition license, or simply experiencing the thrill of acceleration unlike anything else in motorsports, there’s never been a better time to join us,” said Hawley.
