The 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series will hit the halfway mark this weekend at Summit Motorsports Park with the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, the 10th of 20 events scheduled this season.

This week, the PlayNHRA Favorites include Shawn Langdon, Ron Capps, Dallas Glenn, and Richard Gadson in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle, respectively.

The Norwalk event will be part of the PlayNHRA initiative, where drag racing fans will once again have the opportunity to engage in fantasy games, gaming, and betting for this event. Betting markets feature Professional classes, where fans can wager on event winners, low elapsed time of the event, head-to-head matchups, and season champions.

Below are the opening odds as provided by Alt Sports Data.

(Note: In American sports betting, odds are typically expressed with a plus (+) or minus (–) symbol followed by a number. For example, +200 signifies the amount a bettor could win if wagering $100. If the bet works out, the player will receive a total payout of $300; $200 profit + $100 initial stake.)

TOP FUEL

Shawn Langdon is in the midst of perhaps the best season of his career, and he continues to be the favorite amongst oddsmakers. The current points leader opens at +550, which means a $10 wager would return $65.00 should he win the event. Langdon is followed closely by his teammate, Doug Kalitta, who is priced at +600.

Tony Stewart, winner in Pomona, is also in the mix of favorites, along with Bristol champ Antron Brown at +850. Maddi Gordon and Leah Pruett are +900, while Josh Hart, Justin Ashley, and Billy Torrence are +1000.

Spencer Massey leads the longshot group at +1200, followed by Will Smith (+1400), Shawn Reed (+1400), Clay Millican (+1500), eight-time world champion Tony Schumacher (+2700), Scott Farley (+5000), and Mike Butcher (+5000).

FUNNY CAR

As usual, the Funny Car field is wide open with the top six drivers in the class priced at 10-1 or shorter. The field is led by Ron Capps, the current points leader at +600, with recent Bristol champ Matt Hagan a close second at +650. Capps previously won in Norwalk in 2016, while Hagan claimed his lone Norwalk title in 2018.

Maryland winner Austin Prock has moved up to +700, along with Chad Green, winner of the Gainesville and Chicago events. J.R. Todd opens at +800, while John Force Racing teammates Jordan Vandergriff (+900), Jack Beckman (+1000), and Alexis DeJoria (+1200) are also among the favorites.

Del Worsham doesn’t run many NHRA events, but he remains competitive, which helps explain his +1100 price, while Daniel Wilkerson (+1400), two-time Norwalk winner Blake Alexander (+1600), and 2026 NHRA Rookie of the Year Spencer Hyde (+1600) are all mid-pack.

Longshot picks include Cruz Pedregon (+2500), Bobby Bode (+3500), Jeff Arend (+4000), Justin Schriefer (+8000), Dave Richards (+8000), and Joe Morrison (+8000).
